It,s Going Up In The 40's Today And Rain All Next Week

The Bennie is cooking a beef roast today with 

potatoes, carrots, celery. Sure smells good.

Me I am doing laundry,  and Blogging !

Wakening

to a bright sunny deep freeze this morning. It's 14

here in West Tennessee on the Mississippi ( old man river state.)

Now, there is just enough to look pretty and bright.

 I know some laugh at us in the south when it snows

 We don't know how to drive in it.

wrecks every where, the city shuts down and old people just have to

go to the store.

got cold over nite

May get snow flakes, it has been in the 50 and 60's.
Thanks for all the well wishes , no excitement --so far this week.

 

The Bennie

is better and my shoulder is to, Hoping all had a good

first day of  the New Year.

We are getting lots of rain this week with storms today.

No fun get together this coming week, partied out but lots of

loud firetrucks and ambulance. We were called up on to get help

twice. Christmas Eve a neighbor fell and the door was locked

The firemen got their hatch & crowbar  and broke the door down.

Then the ambulance took her away. She had broken her hip.

On New Years morning the lady next door said I think I am having

a stroke , would you know if you were having a stroke? I don't know

if I would. The firetruck came  then the ambulance, the men came

 running in to the house pass the lady sitting in the living-room to

the bedroom. Had to smile, bless their hearts, they took her to hospital.

She didn't have a stroke but they are checking her out.

A week before Christmas  the lady two doors down died and the firetruck and

ambulance came, this lady and her husband  had  just moved in two weeks before

that.

 Praying that the year will now be a well and happy one for our neighbors

and blog land as we move in to 2017.
