Oh! No

I got a little to enthusiastic doing the pool aerobics,

and was very down in my back for last two days.

Who would think that would happen? It seams so easy

to do in 4 1/2 feet of water. I guess I for got how old I was

and why I now live in  a senior community.

 

This pink  Mum is growing in a pink azalea bush and both are blooming.

I can get up and walk now so I should  be ready to play in the pool by Monday.
 

 

 



All Most A Month

Things have slowed down and we are all most a month here.

We now have a weekly schedule, But you know they can be broken.

 

It is coffee, aerobic exercise, Bible classes and more aerobics with more coffees.

The Bennie is into the coffees with the men, and I am just into it.

 

The trees are changing and putting on their fall colors.



My Poor Computer

has been very sick but much  better now.

 

It just didn't like the move I guess, so now I am back in blog world.
Hope all are well and happy.

 

Looks Like We Are In For Rain

and cooler temps by October  31  we will be getting out coats.

Mr . Gardener Works Every Day

As I was telling you about the flowers ,the next day they were

all pulled up, and spring flowers were planted.

The last picture are the pansies I planted around the  two holly trees.

The Place is Coming Together

The bedrooms are in progress, have to get the bed skirts ironed and back on the beds.
There are 2 nice big bed rooms. Big closet's we are doing with must less space so
less furniture. But I did get to keep my favorite pieces of furniture , so you can guess which ones that were..

 



The Gardener Has Been Hard At Work

Last week I got photo's of the flowers around our new home:

The day after I took these photo's most were pulled up.

The winter flowers and spring plants have taken their place.

This Is Where

they have coffee and Bible study and many more events.

The Bible study turned in to a old time good Baptist Hymn sing along.
I sure did enjoy it.  This man has a ministry of song, goes all over the world
to play and sing. He sure could make that piano jump. We sing many old
songs ( Victory in Jesus,) (Just a Closer Walk with Thee) One lady ask
for "The Nail-Scarred Hand" but he didn't know that one.  It's a old one
"Place your hand in the nail-scarred hand, He will keep to the end, he's
your dearest friend, Place your hand in the nail-scarred hand."
 



I went to Hobby Lobby and my 90 year old friend is a good driver,

She only scared me twice but I didn't say any thing or gasp or holler look out.

The Bennie warned her I was his side seat driver and I didn't have a steering wheel. 

 



I Went To Coffee

with my friend that lives here she will be 90 years old her birthday.

And she still drives wants me to go to Hobby Lobby with her ???

In this town I don't know about that ride.

This is club house

I meet a bunch of her friends who are 90 years old and they sure were spry.
They ask me are you here alone or do you have a husband ( I saw two tables of men, only one looked able bodied)
I said yes I have a husband, one cute 90 year old lady said you better keep a eye on him not many men around here.
I have met one lady my age and she still works two days a week. I am sure there are more
 around just have not meet them yet.

The Bennie said I don't think I will go to coffee !

 

A lovely place to set and they have cook outs.
It sits high up on a hill you can see the roof of one of the apartments ,
 I don't know how some can walk up there.

Think I will take a nap now the Bennie got me up at 6:00 had breakfast on the table.

More To See

Of our new home, yes it is much smaller then the house we left.

We started downsizing in 2005 when I retired. Sold large home and went to a senior village .

Stayed 3 years it was not well run and the housing was poor, lots of promises to fix things.

We did meet lots of wonderful friends , most left also. We brought the house we just moved

from and loved it for six years. After we lost our two sons it was just time to move closer to

 our two daughter's. Their children are grown and we can lean on them IF need be???

pool exercise the classes are morning or afternoon.

 

The Bennie said I have now given up all my respectability ugh I mean

responsibility, so just call the office if you need any thing.
