Winter Has Arrived

The trees are bare and it's cold today.

The Bennie had a good day eating cake with family.

He got a new pair of shoes and  new Jeans,

Strange weather we are having.

 It went from rain and very warm.

 to cool and sun.

We just had a Earthquake 2.50 right in the middle of the 

river but about 16 miles up from where he is standing.

the earthquake was today , the photo's were not taken today.

it is going down in the 30's tonight.

How happy I am to live in Bellevue Woods, the world and all

the misery  melts away when you get to hear music  like 

we have at coffee this month. Today Lindsey Toland sang,

She is a teacher at Bellevue School of Performing Arts.

 This is what we see as we drive down our street as we leave

to go in to the city.  They are visible from interstate 40.

She sings  like an Angle must sound.

We Sit For Hours

It was The Bennie's yearly check up.

Got to go back Friday for some test , not to worry he is fine.

Today

After pool aerobics, I went to coffee don't ever go on Monday

but they had the choir from Bellevue Baptist Church sing for us.

They will be the living Christmas Tree singing for the public.

On December 13 here in Memphis.

My granddaughter will be graduating that day from College

with a Degree in Biology. We will be there for her.

My Last Post

Had some sarcasm in it because, I have been reading about 

Schools and other places that have dropped  out of Christmas.

For political views, or Christmas is not politically correct.

And Christmas is not about loving  tiny little trees.

Can You guess   who said that and it was not just Charlie  Brown ?

Went to Friday Coffee

We all-ways say the pledge to the American flag

We have prayer

and today The  Shepherd's Haven  Christian Adult Day Care

Facility came and sing CHRISTMAS songs

for us.

We will have many Christmas party's the hold month of December.
with lovely Christmas decorations.
Did I say we celebrate Christmas the birth of Christ ?

It Is A Bright Day

No rain , no gray !

I made this to go out side but liked it so well I put it in a vase 

for inside.

 Our aerobics teacher cooked a Christmas  pancake breakfast for the class

and we gave him, his Christmas gift (money) .

I made a Fruit Pizza

So easy, cookie dough crust- cream cheese a 1/3 cup sugar add vanilla.

add fruit and drizzle over fruit  1/3 cup marmalade with 1 tablespoon water.

Refrigerate one hour.

It was a hit and so was the Bennie he had to sit at the head table.

It's Not Raining

and the sun is not shining, just a very gray day.

Neighbor's yellow rose is our sun shine today. 

Making Something

 For out side that will say It's almost Christmas.

Will have to wait until it stops raining.
