They Got It Cut

This is the last cutting of the year, see the new house going up?
How long will we have a hay field?  They are building only on the main road so far.

Miss Patsy,

I can just SMELL that wonderful field of hay---the green of the stems, and those beautiful dusty-gold rolls shining in the Arkansas sun. It's been a while, but I can still smell it a mile away when we drive past some.

Hope you and Mr. The Bennie are well and warm this sunshiny November day!

Hay fields are always so lovely. I hope it stays and they do not destroy it to build! For some reason, your picture reminds me of Norman Rockwell.

Is the house that pyramid shape? Shame to spoil the view.

Pretty photo, Patsy. Hay makes me sneeze so I am glad I don't have smell on my computer!!!!! lol

I hope the building won't ruin the pretty field.

I love it when the fields are harvested and the rolls of hay are there for a few days. I do hope they don't build on this land! x

We have corn this year so we won't see such a great pasture scene.
