New way

I was told a new way to peel tomatoes and now I do not have to drop in boiling water then ice water.

Take the back of your knife start at top of tomato and gently draw it over the tomato from top to bottom.
Then peel , the peel slides off so easy.

The Bennie and I put up 8 pint jars of tomatoes.

Preserved Children

Take 1 large field, half a dozen children, 2 or 3 small dogs, a pinch of a brook and some pebbles. Mix the children and dogs well together; put them on the field, stirring constantly. Pour the brook over the pebbles; sprinkle the  field with flowers; spread over all a deep blue sky and bake in sun.

When brown, set away to cool in the bath tub.

This bunny comes early ever morning to the patio, sitting there until The Bennie places the bowl down.
He has carrot, sunflower seeds and corn. Then he happily runs away until just before dark and back to get more.
