A New Family Member

Meet Chip and Ervin.
Ervin and Charlene our village friends have adopted Chip from the Humane Shelter. Chip is mixed breed and eleven months old.
It looks like Chip and Ervin have bonded, adoption is a good thing.

Patsy,

Chip is a star. He is currently being groomed by the mobile dog groomer. The dog groomer lives in our area and has taken a small yellow school bus and outfitted it with a sink, hotwater heater, etc. When she comes, she just hooks up to our electricity in the storage room and is ready to go.

We really enjoy having Chip and you can tell he is happy to have a home.

Have a great day.

I can see Chip is going to be really loved and well care for in that home. It is so nice that Chip could become a part of their family.

It is so heartwarming for a dog to be adopted to a loving family. I know they will give each other a lot of JOY! Chip is cute as can be!

How sweet! I am glad they have found one another. Yep, adopting a pet is a wonderful thing. We alas have been told we can't have any pets here, and we miss our sweet dog who died three years ago. Would love to have a "new friend."

Patsy,
I was reading your blog and this old post came up. Oh how Ervin and Chip loved each other. I don't know if you know, but Chip got away from me and was killed after we moved to Jackson. I like to think they are together again. Gosh, I miss them. I have another small rescue dog named Maggie. I am enjoying the pictures of your new home.
