As you may remember until I got in to genealogy I did not know these cousins.

So glad to visit with them and hear the story of family.

We meet at  Reelfoot  Lake for the best catfish in Tennessee

where our families lived and farmed after coming from England.

We are from the Alexander-- Tate--- Watson-- family's.

It was my great grand mother that made us family.



Mistake !!!

You know how we can not put a picture header on the blog any more unless we pay????
I was not thinking and said self why don't we put a new profile photo of self on profile.
Mistake, mistake  I deleted my old self photo and they said no new photo unless you pay.
So if you don't see me any more on follower, that is why but I still will be a follower of your blog.

We Went ToThe Pecan Orchard Today

It was a lovely drive , the trees are so beautiful now.

The Bennie got 12 pounds cracked then we picked them out

and got 7and1/2 quart bags. This was first crop of the year. 

We Went To

A tree farm to day and looked for a Red Maple (October Glory ) to put in our front yard.
It will be 3 weeks before the one we picked out can be dug up and planted in our yard.
I am so excited. It is not as big as these trees, this big would have cost to much. But ours will grow fast.
 

Ready

for cold weather ,yesterday I got my flower beds cleaned out . Got pots put away for next spring.

And this morning the happy bright yellow pansies were planted. The rabbits have been fenced off  from the garden so they will not get to eat them this year. Or have there baby's

 under the rosemary bush.  We will see?????



The Bennie

is getting a head start he made Greek Spinach and Feta Puff Pastry for our daughter, who will be coming for Thanksgiving . She put in her order early. They do freeze so well.

Procedure Went Well

This morning I  can move and stand with out a lot of pain.
Now I have to start walking, I will try 15 min and see what happens.
There were 19 other men and women waiting to do the same, they had us first timers
with a partition separating us from the people that were there for their second shot. I went over and
and sit with them and ask questions. They made me feel much better about the whole thing.
Only thing as we age the prognosis is not good. I have lost an inch and a half in height.
The Bennie kept telling me I was getting shorter. Did I hear him say something about disappear as I turned around?????

Don't Fence Me In----But They Did

The new house next door is ready for new neighbors.

Our Taylor's Perfection Camellia has got lots of new buds.

The mums have been so pretty.
I go today and have an Epidural Steroid Injection, my first I am a little concerned, but after all the
testing this has to be done so I can stand and walk. Please pray they have all the bad medication off the market.

We Did Early Voting

So nice to go early it was a stead'y group voting, no  long lines.

Still Kicking

Hope all is well with you  lovely people!  This weather is  very nice and we are enjoying it. We both  have been in and out with many doctor appointment's  and  test .  The Bennie is doing much better and so am I, all should be back to normal by last of October.

I Did A Bad Thing

The Bennie was getting his ingredients ready to make his Basil Pesto with clams.

As usual I was not thinking much about what he was doing in the kitchen (I just do the KP). He went out to pull

the basil, came back in mad as an old wet hen. Patsy Carolyn!!!! he always uses my middle name when he is mad. WHY did you pull up my basil when you cleaned the dead plants out of the garden???? Well I am sorry but I ask him when I was in the garden if he wanted to pull and dry his basil and he said no. How is that for bad communication.

 

We did have the Pesto but not with fresh basil. He is so sweet and didn't stay mad long.
