Beatrix Potter's Journal
Between the age 15 and 30 Beatrix Potter kept a secret diary written in code.

the code was cracked 20 years after her death, the diary revealed a remarkable picture of upper middle-class life in late Victorian Britain.

I did not know that. I do know her books were some of my mom's favorites. I like them, too.

Oh my goodness, I didn't know that! I just love to read things written, by famous people. (Other than their public writings, I mean.) Like books of their letters and etc.

Must look for this book, in my library system.

Thank you.
