I guess it is never to late to raise a family. We kept the garage doors up when it was so hot now that it has cooled off they are not up much. We saw the little Wren's flying around.

Then one day I saw this and wondered what is that grass up there for.

Poor little family I guess it is to late for them now.

They do seem to make their nests anywhere they see fit :)
I removed the remnants of one just this week from inside a pie safe on my covered porch, cheeky beggar :)
Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Poor birdies but life happens and it's good a cat didn't get the babies if they had hatched. The birds do find interesting places to nest, don't they?!!

Wrens once made a nest inside my husband's straw hat that was hanging in our garage!
Patsy, my brother bought me a Kindle and I love it!!!!!

Papa made a Wren bird house and we have had a family in it now for the second year in a row. we call her Miss Molly. They are sweet little things and have a huge trill on them for such a tiny bird. Have a wonderful day.
