We have a new tenant in the blue bird house, a flying squirrel.
I had to borrow these photo's because he is very fast but hope to get my own soon.
He or she is so cute and keeps peeking out the little hole, The Bennie tapped on the box to make sure what it was and it came out ran around the tree and back in the box.
This is better then in our attic!

I have never seen a flying squirrel before, I thought it was a bat. I tried to comment yesterday but it said only team members were allowed to comment. Hope this goes through..

Hi Patsy, I can comment again! Flying Squirrels are wonderful little creatures, they will visit your bird feeders at night! :)
I have had difficulty commenting, too so hope this works. A flying squirrel - - - don't think I have ever seen one in person.
They are so sweet unless one gets into the house and you have to try to knock it from the living room curtains into a trash bag to get it back outside. LOL! We had that one night. It was a riot here catching that varmint.
I have not saw any for years though around here.
