I am so happy to say my" Gayfeather: is coming back. It likes full sun and grows 2 feet tall and spreads 18 inches, and a perennial we are trying to fill out garden with perennials. This is the new plant "May Night Salvia" a perennial it has a very rigid, upright form will grow 2 feet tall and 18 inches wide and likes full sun. This size and only one plant will be just right for my small garden. We had hard rain from the storm and no tornado's in our part of north east Arkansas Our neighbor Oklahoma got hit hard.

Good morning. Your Maynight Salvia is just full of blooms.I better go check to see if mine made it through the winter. Forgot all about it. Not that I am getting old and losing my memory or anything. LOL! We love to see the warm weather come but not those nasty storms that come with it. Take care and have a wonderful weekend.

This is definitely the scary time of year for weather. As I am writing, we are getting a heavy storm dumping down on us - - - but Praise God - - - it is not as bad as they originally thought it would be.

Your Salvia color is gorgeous. My two blue's are 'Love in a Mist' and 'Larkspur'. They come up every year here on their own....I'm so glad. The tornadoes must be terribly frightening to experience...and then the damages! It was so windy here in our part of Pa. that the wind toppled a huge pine....which was partialy dead anyway, but still. It looks monstrous lying out there.

Hope your weather improves but sure a little rain helped the new shoots.
