Hot and Dry

The garden is under attack by grasshoppers, worms and now the rose bushes are being eaten.
The dear sweet vinca are doing good.

I love this white one, this year the white flowers are so pretty

And the Verbena

Your flowers are lovely despite the grasshoppers.

The only things that attack my few flowers are snails! They really love verbena. Haven't had as many this year and my hostas may even get to flower.

I love vinca. They are such sweet blooms. I've never had good luck with Verbena here in GA. I love all the pinks and purples you have in your garden. Hope you two will have a great week.

Stand up performers in the heat for sure. Yours are all great colors here.

Your plants look so nice and healthy. I love vincas. The white one with the white/yellow center is the prettiest.

Well at least they have not attacked your vinca and verbena's. They are just beautiful Patsy. You and the Benny stay cool.

You do have such pretty flowers! I think you should hang a couple bird feeders nearby so the birdies will snap up those caterpillars and other bugs for you!

I love seeing your beautiful pictures...I need to get online oftener. I completely forgot sometimes with hubby home all the time. And once I get online...a few minutes turns into an hour or so, and I keep calling 'almost done'...lol. Isn't it awful of me...grin.

We are not far behind in pests, it's coming soon. Hot and dry, and sad....

But everything looks great in your garden. My hosta's are eaten alive.
