Shiny New

Wheelbarrow and a big pile of dirt to play in. The Bennie is going to spread this all over the yard.
This is the Florida Anise . It likes the cool weather and smells so good.

The flower

and the bud

Look my Taylor's Perfection Camellia has buds. It didn't look like it was growning much then here come the buds, the flower will be pink.

We have had bad case of grasshoppers this summer, you can tell my the chewed leaves.

Sure glad that is dirt and not manure that Benny is spreading about. The anise bush aroma would not overcome the stink.

I am not familiar with the Florida Anise either. Such a pretty color and delicate bloom. Hope you both enjoy the weekend. Don't labor too hard!

G'morn, my friend. I just got done reading your posts up to Nicholas Alexander ... what a cutie pie, & look at that big smile.

What a lovely visit at the park ... it looks so peacefully relaxing.

The Florida Anise is AWESOME. I am going to check & see if it grows here.

That's a lot of dirt to move .. my DH would be having fits with a mound like that.

TY for popping by this morn. I love deer, they captivate me, they are so beautiful & graceful.

Have a lovely holiday weekend. TTFN ~ Marydon

Thanks for visiting and commenting!

When I saw this first photo I thought, gosh, that sure looks like Arkansas. I have a friend who lives in Rogers...don't know if that's near you, but the landscape is certainly similar! I visited once about two years ago. It's a beautiful state.
