What More Could Be Out There

This is what ran across the hay field this morning before 6:00 am. Coyote, the first time we have seen one. If they had not cut the field yesterday The Bennie would not have seen him or her.
This afternoon they were rolling in the hay.

Mr. Farmer did raise the dust, as he left.

Nice roll, the field will be full of them when they get around the field.

That coyote looks fierce and alert! At first I thought it was a fox. We had a story here the other night on the news about a boy that was attacked by a fox! Now the poor boy and his Grandma? has to have rabies shots.

Hi Patsy,

Great shot of the coyote! And the hay fields as well. I see a coyote occassionally at the pond, but hear them more often at night in the woods.

Looks like we'll have nice weather for the Memorial Day weekend. Enjoy it!

Hugs,

Renie

Sure would hate for that coyote to see my Sophie. Sophie is a sheltered dog.

Have you looked at Jennifer Chiaverini's website? I check it every once in awhile to see if she has another Elmcreek book.

If you read Jan Karon's Mitford series about Father Tim, you would enjoy her web site. Just type in Jan Karon in the search box. There are some really great pictures of Ireland on her website.

Hope you and the Bennie have a great week-end.

There are coyotes that are running just a couple of miles from my home but I have never saw one yet. They reintroduced them into the area and I am wondering if they will regret it some years from now.
