Family Reunion

There was a drawing for prize's and the Bennie was sure he was going to win the quilted wall hanging but he didn't and got a old fashion doll. LOL

Saturday we went to the Watson/Parker/Pritchard family reunion at Natchez Trace State Park in Tennessee. The descendants of Rebecca Parker and John Wilkerson Watson, was the side of the family my grandfathers sister married into. I am deep into this genealogy. It is addictive and very time consuming and I love it. My dear sainted husband The Bennie who hates cemeteries, but went to every one in east Tennessee with me. (he thinks) I am doing a book called Parts of the Person I am, on the Tate/Alexander/Berry/Green/Casper/Leehy/Harshaw's.

Fun Day

These cups were bird feeders.

8 of our Red Hat group went to Reelfoot Lake in Tiptonville Tn, we all had a big lunch of Catfish. Then we went to big craft fair walked our fanny's off and lunch. We had to treat the Dairy Queen with our presence, after all we didn't have dessert with our lunch.

The Bennie has dug his sweet potatos and I made a pie.

Special night out

Our Village friend Gail had us over for a special treat of story telling. A real story teller from Texas was her guest. As all ways lots of food and fun.
