Trivia and the Fair

Ice cream cone traces its origin to the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair.
Demand for the dessert was so high that an ice cream vendor ran out of dishes
in  which to serve it. So, he turned to a waffle-maker who  made cones from waffles to hold the scoops of ice cream.

It takes about 50  licks to finish a single -scoop ice cream cone.

The hot dog

we pulled up the last of the summer tomatoes  vines and planed new fall vines with blooms on them .

Predominantly

Yellow Warbler. It came in with the Blue Birds, I have not seen one since June 2008.
We are enjoying the Blue Birds, they look like new hatches and they are flocking to go some where.

We have rabbits , raccoon, possum, lots of birds, snakes and people that ride their four wheelers and dump trash and upset me.
