Frank sent up a weather flag yesterday. Houston got some down pour.

It Is That Time To

The first day of Spring is Tuesday March 20th

I guess my flowers knew it was close to spring for they are sure coming out.

Drummons Pink Creeping Phlox is starting to bloom, I like this because

it is a evergreen perennial and makes colorful ground cover.

Dr. Ruppel Clematis has a bud on it , it is surprising me  so much to see the flowers coming out so early.
We are in for lots of rain today next week it will be in the low 70's it my jump to summer.

We Got A New Rose

The Bennie has been putting compost on our little flower bed. When he was in Lowe's he saw

all of these knock-out roses

we now have "The Sunny Knock Out Rose". It is the only fragrant member in the knock out family with a slightly more compact and upright habit. Bright yellow buds open to a light creamy-white color.
