Fly Baby Fly

We still have the flying squirrel in the blue bird box and we may have baby's
soon for the mating season is February to March. When we go out on the patio after dark
  she looks out . They don't really fly they glide from tree to tree.

She  eats will at the bird feeder after the birds get their fill in the day time.

Food and Music

Frank's son had us over for delicious Barbecue and Brisket
with all the trimmings.

at Frank and Cloody's 50th wedding anniversary in 1998.

This is Christian and he sang "I'm So Mad About You"
music and lyrics he wrote for a friend's wedding.

We had so much fun

Food

We were taken to  eat at Goode Co. Texas  seafood ,so good

We had a great appetizer called Campechana De Mariscos
(Mexican Seafood Cocktail). I don't know what they all had but me
a Oyster Poboy on toasted french bread w/garlic butter, mayo, pico degallo and lettuce.
I was in heaven.

The House and Garden

and lovely home for Frank and Cloody.

In their new home in Houston Texas. On a Valentine's Day in the village Frank and Cloody
 were King and Queen, so we ask Cloody if we could bring them something from Arkansas?
Cloody said yes I want my crown they took away from me. Here is Cloody with a crown and sceptor.
We told her it had magical powers and if she waved it at Frank he would disappear.

The next day she was still trying. I will show their home and gardens next.

A New Family Member

Meet Chip and Ervin.

Ervin and Charlene our village friends have adopted Chip from the Humane Shelter. Chip is mixed breed and eleven months old.

It looks like Chip and Ervin have bonded, adoption is a good thing.

We Had Breakfast

at the new Panera Bread place, It was so good. We had the Mediterranean egg white with chedder, spinach and roasted tomatoes breakfast sandwich with a orange cranberry muffin and coffee.

Through the woods and pass the hay field on the south side of our house the city is building the new fairgrounds.
this will be the back of the grounds I zoomed in on this so it is not to close to us and a road runs at the bottom of the hay field.

By fall this could be a bad thing?

A Beautiful Day

here today, we are still using last years parsley and cilantro we planted in a container on the patio. We got new seeds to plant for later. How is that for a mild winter.

Cleaning Up The Garden

and pruning the rose's they were putting new leaves out. The Irises ,daffodils and tulips are coming up. The pansies are blooming more so looks like spring has sprung.
