I am playing nurse to the Bennie. With so much to take care of I will take a break from posting. He is doing good and out of pain have to keep him that way so he can have surgery Jan. 12. 2012.

I got in the mail My grandmothers 1914 Bible and these pictures of her daughter. Look like this was taken 1920.

These are her daughters son's. The little girl could be my sister.

Picture must have been late 1930's. All in this picture are gone now, the boy on the left died early this year.

Thank you all for the prayers and wishes for The Bennie, He is doing good.

The dear Bennie has been in the hospital , home now and

recuperating well.

Feeding the Birds in the snow, it was a surprise to see this. It looks like someone decorated the yard with whipped cream.

My daughter had just to much fun Thanksgiving

at the Coronado Hotel in San Diego Ca

and all I got were these photo's

What a lovely trip for her.

Dear granddaugher

To my village and blog friend Charlene!

The Bennie said you need a new camera and this is it. He is so sweet or over come with Monday after black shopping day.

The technology of today can be very difficult to learn. You would think just point and shoot. But to get the computer and camera to work together was confusion, there are a collection of things I may not learn to use. The word

(CYBE-SHOT ) is scary. Could it be a sign of age?

The morning after the snow

Just look how the camera picked up the snow, wonder of wonders.

Today is cold but the sunshine is bright.

The weather man is telling us we may see some snow flake's today.

But it is much rain for pass 3 days, it has gotten cold.

What better way to pass the after holiday blues then do a fun puzzle.

More of our family : My daddy ,on the right and his sister. Daddy's birthday would have been today and his sister Blue Bell would have been 102 on the 13th of Nov. but she left us in Oct.

And this is Jill my daughter and her son,. Happy Birthday Jill!

Our little friend the Rueous-Sided Towhee is back for a visit. He shows up in spring and back around December, he is a little early .

One last look at the beautiful Trees, to soon it will change to a different beauty of snow and ice.

We are having much rain last night and today .

Will get the tea pot out and my book.

I seam to have a fading memory about what I was to blog about today. So I can tell you ,I got my new 2012 inspirational calender.

Thought

Due to its resemblance to a face, the name pansy is derived from the French word pen'ee meaning "thought". Also varieties that grow sometime look as though they are nodding forward in thought. The flower's meaning tends to be "you're in my thoughts".They maybe food for the rabbits now but they will come back in the Spring.

And to see them bright like little sun shine in the dark cold winter is joy.
