Yes the hibiscus does look good. I have all my geraniums with petals missing and coneflowers laying on the ground. The petals fell from the phlox too leaving a carpet of phlox petals. I hope you have a cooler August.
Happy August 1st! Very pretty Hibiscus. It was cool this morning, but it has since warmed up, although it is quite windy---not a cool wind either. Have a beautiful remainder of the day, Patsy (and Bennie).
Your Hibiscus is lovely....at first I thought it was a Rose of Sharon. I think hibiscus is prettier though. I keep mine in pots and sometimes they bloom once in a while thru the winter. Happy August 1st to you also! We went to community yard sale today....it was too hot and exhausting. I was surprised how out of shape I am! 67 years has caught up with me I'm afraid.
Y'all are lucky. August thru early September can be absolute misery in SE Georgia. I pray we get some Tropical Storms or Hurricane's. They're natural and we really do need them. The Hibiscus is lovely. I'm thinking about planting Cossandra (orange) and Mexican Petunia. They should be able to handle this heat. ~:)

Happy August. We have a very small (new) hibiscus that had its first bloom this week. It was slightly cooler here this a.m. It felt so wonderful!

The flowers are pretty and like you, wishing for some cooler, less humid days ahead.

I love hibiscus but they don't last over the winter here. So pretty!
