I remember how the bees and butterflies love the sedum blooms. Very nice photos, Patsy. We had a big rain storm last night and it just started raining again.
I wonder if the butterfly on the concrete was trying to warm himself. They do get up in the morning and find warm places to warm up before they take off. Or maybe in your case he was cooling himself. The swallowtail like yours was hanging around this morning while I was mowing but was not around when I brought out the camera.
So happy to hear y'all will be cooling off a bit. It's raining here (yay!) thus much cooler. I'll miss the Hummingbirds and flowers but not that heat. ~:)

We had a series of storms last night, and it has been raining off and on here...the temp. tomorrow is only suppose to be 69*.
I enjoyed your pictures, they always make me smile. Blessings

I am ready too!
It's supposed to cool off here too. Our Sedum is still green, so you are ahead of us.
Love the butterflies!
