Remember This Mess

The Bennies yard and new grass is beautiful again.

We had one more run in with the runoff water boy about cutting our side yard.
That if he didn't stop we would take him to court ,about all the damage he had done.
He stopped!

This has been reseeded and growing .

We have a smaller house than he does and that makes our lot look bigger than his.
So I think by him cutting our side yard it made his yard look bigger. He is
now parking his trailer on the lot on the other side of his house. As you know that man died
and his girlfriend moved out so it went back to the bank. That yard needs to be cut
so why is he not cutting it???

That neighbor should have bought a home in the middle of nowhere - he does not know how to behave and do the right thing in a neighborhood. I am glad your and Bennie's grass is doing well and that you have persuaded the bad neighbor to leave your property alone. I am sure there are codes against him having his trailer parked on the grass on the other side....when someone does buy that other home, they will have to deal with him.

Dear Miss Patsy,

I'm so glad for your success, and for that beautiful yard you've cultivated. I'm afraid we make AWFUL neighbors, for I love the lush greens and overgrows of our grapevines and all these enormous trees in our yard, so we're probably THOSE people to folks around here, but we're all good friends and neighbors, and I've noticed that on one side, my friend has nurtured quite a glorious bed of "our" ivy which made its way through the fence over the years...

Glad your weather has been behaving---I remember all those Summer storms from all the forty years I lived down there.

Tell Mr. the Bennie that he's won the Mr. GreenJeans award!

Do you have an HOA? (or covenant association?)and you could always call the City Code Enforcer....

I like what Bennie did, looks really nice. Blessings sweet friend.

It's looking very happy and green now! Our neighbors and I take turns mowing the side lawn. Mercifully, there are no problems with it.

Our lawns here in California look like the first photo. As you probably know, we are in the middle of a 4 year drought and have restrictions on watering our lawns. We are only allowed to water 2 days a week and only run the sprinklers for 4 minutes each time. I had a tree removed from my backyard a few months ago and had new sod put over the bare spots. Because of the lack of water, the sod turned brown and looks terrible. I don't know if it will ever come to life again. I'm hoping it will.

Your yard looks wonderful again, I hope your water boy days are limited. He doesn't mow the other lawn because there is no one to irritate except the bank.
What a mess that was in the Spring and look at the cost of the repairs...what a bum:(

What a difference now! The grass looks great. And who can say about neighbors? I guess we're all a little quirky, some more than others. We're tried making friends here but it's a different culture. If you're not related, or attend their church, they don't want nothing to do with ya. That's weird. We where lucky in Jacksonville as all but one of our neighbors where wonderful folks. ~:)

Your yard and home are lovely....and what a blessing your threat to take him to court did the very thing you needed it to do! What a relief that must be to have it in the past now. I'm sure you are glad of that. We have a creek between us and our neighbors....so no troubles there.

It looks very nice. I'm glad he's behaving now. He should not be living anywhere were he has neighbors!

What a beautiful lawn. Bennie has made a beautiful job of it. Shame some people make such awful neighbours. Have to wonder what they get out of it making other people so unhappy & spoiling their gardens.
