We just got back from a weekend with cousins in Birmingham, and the two-hour delay/traffic jam just when we were getting back into town was brightened by a magnificent sunset, which we just looked our eyes full of til it was faded to blue, and a wonderful old CD of Tennessee Ernie, which we used to sing along to every Sunday morning, getting ready for church when we lived in Alabama.
As we sang along to WHISPERING HOPE, it took me WAY back to those days thirty years ago, and farther still to all my days at the piano of a tiny country church in Mississippi. Sweet memories, sweeter promise.

Hope is such a wonderful word. Thank you for today's verse and the lovely magnolia blossom. xo

Magnolia blossom! How lovely! Do you have a magnolia tree? I love the book of Isaiah.
Thank you for sharing this.
Yes there are many on the grounds here, where I live.
Oh how I miss seeing Magnolias (and smelling)...smiles
