For the community as we get ready to celebrate the
The 4th of July with our family's.
The granddaughter came with knitting yarn, for me to teach
her how to knit????
After a nice long visit about her and life in general
she had to make off with her busy day.
So I got all my supply's out and got started.
I called and said I need more yarn!!
Do you really think she wants to knit, LOL

The Bennies back is so much better, thanks for the prayers
and good wishes.

Whatcha' making Patsy??? {waving to the Bennie and so happy to hear your back is better. smiles} Have a joyful rest of the day, friends.
So glad Bennie is feeling better! Back problems seem to affect everything. I think she does want to learn to knit, but like a teenager, she wants to do other things too, and time is so limited.
Hi Patsy, Your post reminded me of my cousin's daughter who is nine. She asked me to teach her to knit. When I was at her grandmother's house at Christmas, I got the needles (extra large) and began trying to explain casting on. Ella decided after about 15 minutes she really did not want to learn to knit. Ollie taught me while she was living in the village. I just knit simple scraves and find it relaxing.
Glad you got to have a nice visit with your granddaughter. Very glad to learn Bennie is feeling better.
Glad you had a nice visit even though the knitting didn't happen!
Oh how I remember fun times teaching our granddaughters how to sew and knit! Enjoy this special time of memory making! Wishing you a very blessed and Happy July 4th!
Blessings,
Sue
I haven't knitted in a month of Sunday's. Happy to hear your back is better. ~:)
