Charlene's Father died Who was a World War II
veteran And we applaud his service.
We were at the visitation when
in walked Elvis Presley's first cousin on his mothers side of the family.
in walked Elvis Presley's first cousin on his mothers side of the family.
Then the story's began. Like, I remember the the last time I saw Elvis.
We all went to school or knew him before fame. He dressed funny
and he was a lot of laughs. They actually pay the cousin lots of money to
fly around the world to talk about Elvis. We were told.
This is a personal snap shot I have of Elvis.

So glad you have all these nice memories of such a beautiful, gallant young man. It's amazing that his memory has been so lasting and vivid---generation after generation have flocked to Graceland, and he's at the top for having his work and memorabilia still selling strongly.
He was certainly one of a kind, and I think the "KIND" was a great part of his charm and popularity---who knows how many lives he touched with his generous, kind heart, and the people and causes he helped. Miss Gladys could be prouder and prouder.
Stay Warm!

I'm glad that Elvis doesn't have to witness what's happening to our country right now. He was a true patriot and, from all accounts, a genuinely nice guy. I know there's many that still miss him.
Hope your day was blessed. ~:)
How interesting! :)
I was held by Elvis and Don Ho when my Dad was in Hawaii recovering from being shot down in Vietnam...what a cool story Patsy!!
I am sorry for your loss....condolences. Blessings sweet friend.
Well that's a story Patsy. Hope it didn't distract people from the veteran. There are not many left from WW2 now sadly. What a great thing they did for the world. Sad that we don't have the peace they fought for.
Patsy, Thank you, Bennie and Anna for coming to the visitation. The Veteran service was so impressive. The rifles and taps were impressive. The chaplain from the VA Hospital gave a wonderful talk. I am home now.
That is pretty cool!
I'm sorry for you loss and glad you could be at the visitation.
It is good that we have memories.
So sorry for your loss. Seriously? About Elvis? What fun! Write that down so it doesn't get loss.
