to over come being swept away with grieve. At my age it is only a sure thing that life deals you . So many of my family are leaving me, because of death. When I retired my work was to do ancestry for all the family's of my mother and father, which I knew little about. It has been a wonderful trip back in time. It has taken 4 years and many new cousins I now have a great friendship with. I am now having to add my only son ,my only sister and as you know a dear aunt. There has been calls that the 100 year old sister of my father is ready to go and two of her sons that or near my age have been told they have only months to live. Adding these family members to my ancestry pages is being very emotional. When I started this never did I think about my close family being added. With Gods word to comfort me I will keep the joy and peace of his love in me. Thanks to this blog I can put my thoughts in words, and share my pain.
I have had a difficult time getting this quilt this far, now to do the binding. All I can think about is what to do next for a new quilt.
