And give the Bennie a rest------Spinach Lasagna Rolls.

We Went ToThe Pecan Orchard Today

It was a lovely drive , the trees are so beautiful now.

The Bennie got 12 pounds cracked then we picked them out

and got 7and1/2 quart bags. This was first crop of the year. 

We Went To

A tree farm to day and looked for a Red Maple (October Glory ) to put in our front yard.
It will be 3 weeks before the one we picked out can be dug up and planted in our yard.
I am so excited. It is not as big as these trees, this big would have cost to much. But ours will grow fast.
 

Ready

for cold weather ,yesterday I got my flower beds cleaned out . Got pots put away for next spring.

And this morning the happy bright yellow pansies were planted. The rabbits have been fenced off  from the garden so they will not get to eat them this year. Or have there baby's

 under the rosemary bush.  We will see?????



The Bennie

is getting a head start he made Greek Spinach and Feta Puff Pastry for our daughter, who will be coming for Thanksgiving . She put in her order early. They do freeze so well.

doesn't know how to have fun. Cloody and Frank are party people.
