Summer has gone and Fall has fallen
how long will you stay

The Rose

God made the Rose and made it sweet,

With beauty beyond compare.
God made the rose for you and me
and gave it perfume rare.

God made the soil to plant the rose

where it can grow its flowers.

God made the rose thrive and grow,

To cheer us in all hours.

God sends the sunshine and the rain

to produce nutrition for it; and man to give it his tender care

so every one shall love it.
God made the Maiden, fair as the rose,

and gave her consoling ways;

God made them both for you and for me

The Bennie went shopping at Fitz and Floyd in Dallas Texas

This is what I got
a lovely Black teapot with a pink rose on it.

he picked out this "Mallard Pond" plate

and this "Jungle Parrot" plate

We have enjoyed them very much:

I posted about the Parker Homestead this morning and was told this was for sell at Walmart. I just didn't think about them planting a new one in the old house. When I went to remove the one picture I didn't mean to deleted all of the post. Sorry because there were 5 very nice comments.
