Got To Love a Iris Garden

 The main reason for going
was to see the many Iris
Hope you have them in your garden
when we moved I gave my Iris to a friend who didn't have the pink and white
You remember the White was Aunt Minnie
 The pink was Miss Cloody
And the yellow was Mr. Frank

  1. Because our soil is acidic and dry, I didn't plant any tubers or bulbs. Now I wish I had made the effort because the Iris' are lovely! Good photos too. ~:)

  2. Such pretty Iris. They don't work well up here, the frost heaves kill them. I had several for about three years...fun while they lasted:)

Thank you for brightening my day :)

  4. I only have the white ones. I have different colors than these and I know that I will be sharing them. Mine won't bloom for three more weeks or so.

  6. They are really pretty! Iris always make me think of an old neighbor. She had a huge iris garden and always called me to come over and walk around it with her when it was blooming. She was so proud of it. She passed away and a nephew bought her house. He tilled it all under and planted grass, which makes me sad - especially this tie of year.
