Did you ever find out what kind of frog they were?
We have a very special species of frog Pacific tree frog, around here that are indigenous to only our part of the world. I wonder what yours are.
They hung out at the nursery where I worked for so many years, and each spring, summer was my favorite time to listen for them.
I miss that, and thank you for posting this photo. It brings back many fond memories of the little peepers jumping out from underneath pots, and plants at us.

LOL! You ole frog catchers! That must have been fun. LOL! He is a cute little thing and it looks like this one had the right place to go on a hot day.
