Clean up Saturday

Bennie what is this? Just throw it on in the pile, Patsy.

Limbs that came out of our back yard. Bennie are you sure it is OK to put all of this on the lot next door? Just put it down they will burn it.

Top came out of this tree it is not on our side of the fence.

These are the lots to the side of our back yard and the fence line.

Come Feed Me

You birds just set still and I will look in the back door and see if the Smith's will come feed us.

This is where we have been living the pass two days in our camper. We had heat and a stove to cook on. The house got very cold fast. The temp is still very cold and the ice shows no sign of melting.

We got electricity about noon today. The village people were hit hard it my be next week before they get electricity. We talk to Frank every day. They have gas so in one room they have a little gas heater that he put in this fall. ( smart move) So they have heat and gas to cook with. He said he will be back to his blog soon. The place we lived in the village now has a tree in the living room. Was God's time not just right for us and our move.

What I Have Been Doing Today

looking out the window as the trees get more and more ice on them.

Opening the back door to put more bird feed out.

Playing with some left over knitting yarn

Making my ACT cards to mail for February. The lights blinking on and off we may not have power much longer. I have been talking to Frank about facebook ,can you believe that guy has facebook too. What a savvy person he is.

Go green, three of the worst offenders found in relatively new homes are from building mater and furnished with synthetic carpeting fabrics, laminated counters, plastic coated wallpaper, and other materials know to "off gas" pollutants in to the interior environment. This is my solution "Bamboo" with fake flower. Do the bomboo place mats count?

Can We Talk Quilts

If you remember this ,I was so sure my quilting ability had made a advancement and I could do this. No I made a silly mistake which I will not go in to. Now I have just sacked it up maybe for years.

I am going to try a new block, it took a day an a half to cut 100's of these.

What do you think ? Can I do this? Before the world I will do my best. See what not having my Village quilt friends near caused.

A New Beginning

The Bennie made Dinner

While I huffed and puffed with the house work. The Bennie made my dinner. His meat sauce over a plate of spaghetti. So good, for dessert the dear made a light treat. Mascarpone Italian cream cheese with Raspberry yogurt topped with shaved chocolate in little fillo cups.

Saturday's will be the Day

To day it has been 4 weeks . No more thinking about it I have to do this, even a new house has to be cleaned.

The Ripper is My Friend

Yesterday I found a big mistake in my quilt, all afternoon the seam ripper was my only hope. Before I ripped I had to think about how in the world could I fix this . So I went to my other mess. Next picture I have it all under control and now I can sit and knit or embroidery and crochet at night or when the mood hits me.

The only way I could think of to fix the quilt was rip out all 30 blocks. Poor me , but I will not give up . Just marked it up as learning experience.
