I love to tell the story
Of unseen things above,
Of Jesus and His glory,

    Well I am happy to tell you that I bought a copy of Tennessee Ernie Ford's Old Time Religion CD, it arrived yesterday and has "I Love To Tell the Story" on it. I love him singing these 15 songs.

    That is our favorite hymn. Now I have to share this with you!
    A long time ago 1980's we were members of a very conservative congregation LCMS and we were told that song could not be sung because it was not in the hymnal. SO we made a photo copy of the song from another churches hymnal and pasted it in the back of every one of our hymnals...so there was no excuse after that...cause it was IN the hymnal :)
