You saved him!!! One of my favorite shows was called Treetop Rescue. It was about two guys who drove around Washington State rescuing cats from tall trees. They were arborists (tree specialists) and they had all kinds of climbing gear.
Ah bless I love a happy ending Patsy. We had a kitty who climbed onto our garage roof, it was only about 10 foot high & he sat crying for ages. I eventually had to get the steps out & lift him down. Oscar had no head for heights!
Poor Kitty, I'm glad he got out of the tree.
