I don't think I've seen a more beautiful amaryllis. My Mammaw used to get bulbs every year, with the magical knack of having them at their very peak on every holiday---it was like she had some kind of mystical timing that had them blushing their best right on time.
She called them Amarillos. And if there were just ONE, it was an Amarillo, just like if she gave you one cutting from the many coffee-cans of coleus up and down the porch steps, she gave you a colea.
My heart for pink has been just looking my eyes full of this extraordinarily beautiful array--absolutely perfect!
