I Have Been Reading Some Good Books

in my new reading chair!
The Bennie saw this at Sam's and said it would  be a nice small chair for the bedroom.
He is always right you know. I am enjoying it very much.

  1. I love that chair! What books, Patsy? I just finished Mr. Miracle by Debbie Macomber. Blessings

  2. He is right for sure this time! This is just lovely! So much more stylish than a big Lazy Boy. And I love the studs around the ottoman, they are so rich looking. The pillow is pretty...is that music notes on it?

  3. What a lovely, snuggly corner! Perfect for reading with your feet up on these cold days---with the sun streaming across your shoulders. Chris bought me one at Sam's back in the Fall, almost the exact (bigger, but without the ottoman) twin.

Mine's a sort of soft velvety corduroy fabric, and then he gave me a deep-brown alpaca "lapghan" for Christmas to go with it.

How sweet our guys are to be always thinking of our comfort and enjoyment!

  4. I really like your chair and ottoman. It looks perfect for comfy reading. These days when I sit down in the afternoon to read, I find myself waking up after a snooze.

  5. It looks so cozy, and I love your bunny perched on the arm. We bought matching recliners at Sams Club...what a nice place to shop.

  6. Perfect place to sit and read and there is even a place nearby to have a waiting cup of tea. Bennie's so sweet to think of it.

  9. Very nice Bennie and I can also see a nap would work well in that chair.

  11. Just my kind of chair. A place to put my bits, my books, a drink and everything else I want to keep to hand.
