The trees are making leaves
Where the old ones try to cleave
Changing all colors from brown to green.
The birds are on the wing; and from tree to tree they sing.
The farmer has his plow; and getting ready to make food.
From the great amount of seed he will need.
It must be Spring!
Pretty photos, Patsy. Red bud trees are beautiful, aren't they? Hope you both have a nice Spring day.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine growing anything! These are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh so pretty..thank you for the smiles. Blessings
ReplyDeleteI love Red buds. We've been trying to grow one for years, and the bad winters keep taking it out. I think it may actually have grown big enough to survive though!
ReplyDeleteYou are making me anxious to see our red bud that will be blooming in another few weeks. Your tree is beautiful. I do like the birds scampering around and fussing. Spring is so wonderful.
ReplyDeleteOur Red Bud's bloomed a few weeks ago. I like the velvet soft lilac colors. The bumble bees love them too.
ReplyDeleteHope you and Bennie are feeling healthy and content.
God bless. ~:)
How beautiful! We saw a tractor tilling the soil yesterday. It's time to plant here in Florida. Enjoy your week sweet friend! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteWow you have a lot blooming where you are! We are so far behind this year -- no sign of redbuds yet. Hardly a green thing around it seems although the closer you look the more you can find.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteTruly beautiful blooms, Patsy! Love the poem as well. Glad you came by my quilting blog and commented! I try not to buy new fabric but it is so hard! :-)
