Wednesday Words Autumn Leaves

For more contributors go to muddybootdreams

The Autumn leaves are falling fast

From the trees upon the hill.

They break loose from Summer's hold

And the wind wafts them at will.

I see them sailing thru the air

Fluttering, floating, twisting, turning...

Reminding us that we will soon

For the Summer days be yearning. Sense and Nonsense in Poetry By Willis L. Tackette

  1. What a nice start to my day. A lovely poem and I think most of us are ready for fall. The colors of fall are approaching maybe even sooner than the past couple of years. We are having temps lower than normal lately.

Your baskets are beautiful. I love the mums and the dish garden.

  8. Hi Patsy,
Loved this post and your other posts, orange spice tea reminds me of fall, and I really have been trying to get my home cleaned since I have been so busy this summer, Don't you just love that murphys soap oil, it just makes you home smell so clean, Thank you for visiting and I am so happy to put your name in the hat for Sat. drawing, good luck.

Hopefully now that summer is past and things have slowed down I can visit more often and be a better neighbor, I always enjoy visiting you.
