New flower in the garden

This Starburst Clematis has it's first bloom, and it is deer resistant but so far I have not seen any deers or bear(YET). lol

    Oh Lord,help me. I cannot even stand to look at snakes. Once bitten always creeped out I guess :-)
    Your clematis blooms are so pretty. Do they have a fragrance?
