I love to see sheep since I've taken on spinning wool as a hobby. To feel that wool in your hands as yet unwashed...is wonderful to me. The lanolin feels so good. I read that in some cold climate...Norway perhaps? they used to knit their fisherman wool sweaters out of unwashed wool to keep the wool waterproof. Makes sense really.
I think I would be stopping by to pet those cows if I could! :-)
ReplyDeleteWho does the milking?
ReplyDeleteI didn't see any milk cows yet.
ReplyDeleteWell that's fun to visit huh?
ReplyDeleteInteresting, I am only used to seeing sheep on bright green grass and pastures.
