I have been thinking about the word COMPROMISE-----
To compromise is to make a deal. Extremism is often considered as an antonym to compromise, which, depending on context may be associated with balance,tolerance. In the negative connotation, compromise, referring to a surrender of objectives, principles or material.
Do you think we have compromised our country into a radical social and economic structure?
