Redbud Tree

Our woods and yards are full of the blooming Redbud Trees at this time of year.
Some years the Dogwood's will bloom at the same time but not this year.

  2. I always love to see these trees in bloom, such gorgeous shades of pink/purple.
I haven't seen a blooming dogwood yet, must be the colder spring we had ?
    Lovely and thanks for sharing.

  3. I think red bud trees are so pretty in the spring. Ours may get out this week on the roadways. I always saw them blooming here in the spring but I didn't even know what they were called until last year when a blogger showed pictures of them.

  4. My redbuds are just starting to show some color, but not in bloom yet. Any day now, especially with the warm weather we're getting now. The one you picture is beautiful!

    Happy Easter to you both!

  5. So very pretty Patsy. Nalley and I took my parents to Monticello years ago in the Spring and the mountains around Jefferson's home were just surrounded with these beautiful blooms!

  7. Our trees here are gorgeous ... not so many redbuds, tho. Dogwoods look more leafy than buds.

    Love your pics tho, Patsy.

    Happy Easter!
    Have a beautiful week.
