Victory (Stand Firm)

"Where, O death, is your victory ?
Where, O death, is your sting ?"
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God!
He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

No self respecting

Blue Bird would ever live in this place again. Just look at the wider hole Mrs. Flying
Squirrel  made .
This was last time she made her home here, you can see she could get in
then she made her nest. I guess she gained weight and needed a bigger door.

Louisiana Iris

Beauthful Deep Blue
These love the damp cool weather, they bloom in mass. And have taken over the bearded iris bed.
Only the pink and yellow  bloomed this year the white and blue didn't like the cool damp. I will have to rework my bearded iris bed and move some, then hope for the best next year.
I love Irises , did you know they are the Tennessee state flower?

"At The Voice Of Thy Cry

when He shall hear it, He will answer thee."
Isaiah 30:19

O God, help us to remember that we can depend on your Word.
What you have spoken will come to pass.

Wild Honeysuckle

When I step out on the patio it smells wonderful.
I have had internet trouble and could not open my blogs. All of Google sites would not
work on Yahoo, so what could I do? After much help had to download Internet Explorer 11.
Firefox was much help but not all my issues were worked out, for now I can blog.

Rain and cold has much of the lower states in this predicament. Monday should see hot dry days.
The flowers have been beaten down and some are waiting for sun so they can bloom. My
bearded Iris did not do well this year only the pink and yellow bloomed  the white and blues didn't.
The Louisiana Iris are true blue and they love this rain, they are about to mass bloom.

Warm Day-- Strong Wind

Cream and white rose and smells so good.
It is the Pope John Paul 11 called a rose for a cause
ten percent of sales benefit the poor of sub-Saharan Africa.
This is the hybrid Peace rose with golden -yellow buds large open rose.
This is my pink Iris that Cloody and Frank gave me from their yard
when they moved to Texas four years ago.
This is in the back away from the sick Irises. Reading about the diseases of Irises my
problem could be wet and cold that cause the rot.

iPad App Fun And Need Help With Problem

This is photo of last years Irises The app is PicPlayPost
Knitting Kat (on side bar- I have not learn to link yet) helped me with this Thanks Kit.
These are in back  yard ,this year they are slow to bloom.
Something is very wrong with my Irises in front bed they are rotting at the stem
of the bloom. The bloom is good but they fall over because the stem withers and rots.
Can any one tell me what is wrong?

Blessed

is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he chose for his in heritance.
From heaven the Lord looks down and sees all mankind; from his dwelling
place he watches all who live on earth----he who forms the hearts of all,
who considers everything they do.
