It will grow fast the  copper Coleus.

Look at the sweet smelling honeysuckle on the back fence.

Nana's Memories

http://memorycollecting.blogspot.com/
Blogged about "Growing Up Together" and ask, if my uncle was born when Harry S.Truman was President of the
United States. How old is he now?
This got me to thinking about when I saw Harry S. Truman.
It was October 6 1945, I was 6 years old and my grandfather took me to see
The President of the United States. (It made a big impression on me for life and I love to  study the history of this country)
It was in Blytheville Arkansas- there was a big army base in Blytheville and he flew in
and made a visit/stopover on his way to Missouri. Living with the army base in Blytheville we were very patriotic to this Republic of the United States of America.

Did you know that Truman faced many challenges in domestic affairs? The disorderly postwar
reconversion of the economy of the United States was marked by confounded to win election in 1948, helped by his famous Whistle Stop Tour of rural America. After his election, he passed only one of the  proposals in his liberal
Fair Deal program. He used executive orders to end racial discrimination in the armed forces and created loyalty checks that
dismissed thousands of communist supporters from office.

"In the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion: in the secret of His tabernacle shall He hide me."
Psalm 27:5

Our Father, when familiar surroundings fade, strengthen my wings of faith.
Help me to accept the need to grow and mature.

Just Call Me Silly

I was making chocolate chip cookies yesterday and I got the
sugars and eggs, butter creamed together went to put the vanilla in guess what I did. Grabbed the
Dale's steak seasoning  and when I poured it in the measuring spoon I could smell it but with out thinking
in it went. ( Now I don't say much about)???? The Bennie but he saved the day.
You know after all it was Friday 13th. Well I had to have a excuse after all.
He said no need to dump it I can get it out &&&&. I had not stirred it in, lost some batter. He tasted the first cookie
and it was good no taste of Dale's in the cookie.

Peony in Bloom

Who made all the Fruits and Flowers
And  all the lofty Trees;
And all the Fowl that walk or fly
And all the Honey Bees?

And if you think there is no God
To make and rule this Earth,
You'll never love your Fellowman
For what his love is worth.

And where did you originate,
And where have your feet trod?
And what is your destination
If you think there is no GOD ?
